Shiatsu Warwickshire
Shiatsu developed in Japan, is a finger-pressure technique using acupuncture points to
aid healing.
Similar to acupressure, shiatsu focuses on unblocking the stream of life energy and restoring balance in the meridians and organs in order to encourage self-healing.
In Shiatsu the
client reclines whilst the therapist applies pressure with the finger, thumb, palm, elbow or knee to specific area on the body which is located along the energy meridians. The therapy brings about a feeling of relaxation
while stimulating blood and lymphatic flow.
