Vitality Lift Facial Massage

Concept

The Vitality Lift Facial Massage aims to unblock and stimulate the nerve endings in the face to help the glands and organs function efficiently once more. The nerve endings of the face are directly linked to the internal organs and glands by the nervous system which carries electrical impulses from the brain to the organs and glands. This treatment revitalises the whole body and, if taken on a regular basis, helps to reverse the signs of illness and dis-ease.

During the treatment a series of acupressure and reflex points are massaged to promote release of harmful toxins and boost energy levels. Our modern lifestyle is full of toxins, such as alcohol, cigarettes, polluted air and poor diet, which can block the nerve endings and limit the amount of electromagnetic energy that flows through the body via the nervous system. The result is a body that doesn’t function at optimum efficiency, an increase in weight and dull, tired looking skin. It is well known that the appearance of the skin reflects the inner workings of the body. For example, when digestion is sluggish toxins build up in the body, resulting in spots, blemishes and sallow looking skin.

When the amount of electromagnetic energy flowing through the body is severely restricted, all the organs become impaired, including the skin itself. Not enough blood, oxygen, protein and minerals reach the face and dry, flaccid skin appears. The more this continues, the faster the skin will age. In addition to restoring balance internally, this massage also stimulates core facial muscles to lift, firm and tone the skin from the outside, brightening and improving its appearance. This treatment restores vitality internally and provides a natural ‘lift’ externally.

Treatment

The facial massage itself is a fingertip massage to the reflex points on the face relating to the major organs and endocrine glands to restore digestive and hormonal balance. As in a standard Reflexology treatment, the reflex points are massage firmly in a rotating movement to break down the toxins blocking the nerve endings to allow blood and oxygen to reach the face and enable electromagnetic energy to flow more easily to the internal organs. Some reflex points will be tender, indicating congestion, but will become less tender over a period of time as the crystalline deposits break down through massage.

The following reflex points are worked during a treatment:-

· Top of forehead – improves mental alertness and thinking processes.

· Pituitary gland – rebalances hormones required by the entire reproductive system. Also improves imagination and perception related to the 3rd eye chakra.

· Colons – improves elimination of waste matter.

· Kidneys – improves elimination of toxins and acidity in the body.

· Bowels – improves sluggish bowels which can cause dull, pasty looking skin.

· Stomach – improves digestion.

· Spleen – improves removal of worn-out blood cells.

· Pancreas – improves secretion of alkaline enzymes to help the digestive process.

· Lungs – improves oxygen supply and lung function, helping to keep colds, bronchitis and asthma at bay.

· Sex glands – improves hormonal balance and health of reproductive organs.

· Liver and lymphatic system – improves quality of the blood and removal of waste products.

· Nervous system – tones up whole nervous system and promotes sense of peace and tranquillity.

· Ears – massaging the ears tones up the whole body.

· Thyroid – improves circulation, poor memory and menstruation problems. If the thyroid gland is in poor condition, the heartbeat slows, breathing becomes more difficult and the skin becomes fry and scaly. You will also have increased sensitivity to the cold, put on weight more easily and suffer from low mood and lethargy.

Safety

The Vitality Lift Facial Massage can be taken by all except those with botox or facial fillers and jaw problems.

Benefits

Benefits include improved elimination and detoxification, improved hormonal balance and digestion, as well as assistance with weight loss, particularly around the stomach, hips and thighs. The facial muscles will be more toned and strengthened, resulting in firmer looking skin. Generally clients experience a feeling of greater energy and vitality as youth, beauty and health are promoted from within.
